The story behind the coffee

Abbey Green Estate goes back to the mid 1800's and is the main supplier of berries for the Amber Estate label. During the 1800's the coffee shops in London were the rage of the social scene and a place of intellectual foment, where politics, law and art were discussed in caffeine stimulated animation.

Abbey Green Estates is the highest farm in the Blue Mountains at 4500 ft and is the only gateway to the famous Blue Mountain Peak, 7,402 ft. above sea level. All the trails that go to the Blue Mountain Peak go through the Abbey Green Farm, just below Portland Gap via the challenging 'Jacob's Ladder' section of the trail on the property.

Only the finest handpicked big bold beans from are used, designated Jamaica Blue Mountain no.1 for both the roasted beans and roasted ground. This ensures that each cup has the fullest manifestation of notes in both aroma and taste.

Preparation and Storage

On average 1 teaspoon or more according to your taste. Once opened reseal your bag of coffee with the ziplock and store in a cool dry place. Use within 2-3 weeks of opening for ground and 4 weeks for beans.
