Coopac (Cooperative pour la Promotion des Activies Cafe) was founded in April 2001 and today has 2200 members from 6 associations. It is situated on volcanic mountain slopes in the west of Rwanda, where the soil is extremely rich. High altitudes and heavy rainfalls on the shores of Lake Kivu provide perfect growing conditions for one of the finest Arabica coffees in the world. Beautifully balanced with bright lively acidity combined with a juicy body and great sweetness throughout. Notes of peach and tangerine with a winey clean finish.
